PROJECT MANAGER – SITE IMPROVEMENTS

CJS Investments, Inc. is a New Jersey-based developer of residential and commercial real estate.  We have been in business for over 25 years.  We have a family-like work environment, and the employees support one another. We are looking for the right seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team and help manage our projects in the field.

Job Responsibilities: 

This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and Ownership. This position will work on various sites throughout New Jersey and will help oversee clearing and removals; soil erosion maintenance; mass excavation and grading; installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water mains; roadway preparation, paving, curbs, and sidewalks; gas, electrical and telecommunication services. This includes coordinating subcontractors to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. Specific responsibilities include:

·   Oversee site improvement projects.

·   Review and understand all construction documents including specifications and drawings.

·   Assist in obtaining permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities.

·   Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process.

·   Maintain construction schedule, identify, and solve problems.

·   Coordinate site inspections and project milestones with government agencies

·   Monitor and report on daily activities/progress and budget matters.

·   Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

·   Promote job site safety, safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately. 

Qualifications:

·   Minimum two years of experience in site improvements.

·   Knowledge of site improvement processes, means and methods. 

·   Excellent time and project management skills.

·   Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and township officials.

Compensation:  

·   Salary to commensurate with experience. (Please provide salary requirements with Resume)
