We are seeking a Construction Project Manager / Estimator to support the successful delivery of civil, residential, and commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through close-out, including estimating, bidding, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and client coordination. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, financial discipline, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Lead multiple construction projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop, manage, and track detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, and conflicts to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and accurate cost estimates for civil, residential, and commercial projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and startup requirements with the Site Superintendent prior to job commencement.
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals for both private and public sector projects.
- Participate in pre-bid and post-project reviews to evaluate performance, profitability, and risk.
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation and reporting in compliance with municipal, state, and federal requirements.
- Maintain complete project records, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and close-out documentation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, preferred.
- 5+ years of construction project management from bid through close-out, in civil, residential and commercial projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
- Experience with public works projects and regulatory compliance.
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe/Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid/Job
