Project Manager – Control System Integration Practice As a Project Manager at BW Design Group, you will work with industry experts to deliver high‑quality automation solutions for our customers in the food & beverage, life sciences, industrial, and advanced technology sectors. You will support capital projects and implement solutions that help clients improve performance and achieve critical goals. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute project tasks including hardware and panel design, PLC and HMI programming, SCADA design, power distribution design, and related documentation. Prepare proposals, conduct estimating, schedule resources, staff teams, negotiate contracts, process orders, and perform quality control to ensure customer satisfaction. Build and maintain a book of business, actively pursue new opportunities, and expand relationships with existing clients. Lead business‑development initiatives to identify and close new projects, and grow the controls & automation business locally and regionally. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key client contacts; mentor and guide professionals, providing feedback, training, and career development. Participate in councils that adopt firm‑wide standards and provide quarterly reporting to office and regional partners. Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate reporting of controls & automation group activities and support a positive corporate image in line with guiding principles of leadership. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience developing and delivering automation solutions for consumer products or industrial design industries. Proven experience designing electrical control systems and programming automation for process applications. Proficiency with Rockwell hardware and software; familiarity with Siemens, Wonderware, and GE solutions is preferred. Experience in food & beverage, pulp & paper, or other industrial sectors is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and client‑management skills; ability to engage with all levels of management, vendors, and stakeholders. Willingness to travel for installations, start‑ups, client meetings, training, series, forums, and conventions. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred but other engineering degrees with relevant experience will be considered. Compensation and Benefits Approximate pay range: $120,000‑$150,000. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
