The Planet Group is hiring a Social Project Manager to support a well‑known Fortune 500 consumer technology brand on a 9‑month contract. This role supports earned social, creator, and UGC initiatives and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, creative marketing environments.

About the Role

The Social Project Manager will support social and creator‑led marketing campaigns by managing timelines, workflows, and cross‑functional coordination. This role is highly operational and focused on keeping complex projects organized, on track, and aligned with brand and campaign goals.

You’ll work closely with marketing, creative, editorial, external partners, and creators to ensure flawless execution across social platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for earned social initiatives
• Coordinate across internal teams, external partners, and creators
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve dependencies
• Support budget tracking and basic financial reporting
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status updates
• Ensure creative deliverables align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
• Communicate updates clearly and consistently to stakeholders
• Support day‑to‑day coordination, scheduling, and issue resolution

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience managing projects in social, creator, or digital marketing environments
• Experience working with creators, influencers, agencies, or external talent
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience supporting campaigns on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or similar
• Proficiency with project management tools and workflow systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with creative, marketing, or editorial teams
