Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Commercial Electrical projects, specifically focused on Tenant Improvement (TI) Electrical Construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing electrical construction projects, from planning through completion, and possess a deep understanding of electrical systems in commercial environments. Only candidates with experience as an Electrical Construction Project Manager will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of commercial electrical projects with a focus on Tenant Improvement (TI) construction.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion within budget and scope.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project performance, including cost control, safety, and quality.
- Lead project teams and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any potential issues.
- Provide accurate progress reports and updates to upper management and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Commercial Electrical Construction.
- Extensive experience in Tenant Improvement (TI) Electrical Construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Strong budgeting and cost management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree or relevant certifications.
- Experience with large-scale commercial electrical projects.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industry best practices.
