Overview Scott’s Electric is looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Wahpeton, ND. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality electrical projects from bid to completion while working closely with our team, clients, and subcontractors. Essential Functions Plan for and prepare estimates for electrical construction work Direct resources and coordinates activities involved with electrical construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and electrical systems Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with project owners and design teams Develop project estimate budgets Collaborate with vendors and others within the trade to execute subcontracts and purchase orders Calculation of change proposals Reviews and approves product shop drawings Coordinates labor, material and equipment needs for projects Verifies work is completed as estimated and conforms to project specifications Communicate with owners, contractors, and design team to resolve work procedure, construction, and complaint issues Determine labor requirements for productive project progress Qualifications Associate’s degree in an approved electrical course study Minimum 8 years electrical field experience Journeyman or Master Electrical license in ND or MN Skills and Abilities Computer knowledge using Microsoft Office, Procore and estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, etc.) Ability to organize, prioritize and meet strict deadlines Ability to adapt to change within the workplace Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and always maintain a professional demeanor Quality written, verbal and communication skills Foster a positive and productive environment within the company team Why Scott’s Electric?
