Position Summary
The Project Manager III is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects in the display industry, encompassing product design, development, manufacturing, and installation. This senior-level role requires deep experience managing large-scale display programs - such as LED, LCD, OLED, digital signage, or retail display systems - from concept to completion.
The Project Manager III acts as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure successful execution of all project deliverables - on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple high-visibility display projects simultaneously, managing all aspects from initiation through delivery and post-installation support.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives and customer expectations.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Manage client communications and serve as the main point of contact for all project-related updates.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and performance standards are met.
- Prepare and present project status reports and executive summaries to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives to enhance project efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
(PMP Certification preferred.)
- Experience: 7 10 years of project management experience in the display, electronics, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-phase display or hardware integration projects.
- Strong understanding of LED/LCD display systems, digital signage, mechanical assemblies, and production processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Epicor, Sales Force.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Financial acumen with experience tracking project costs and profitability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom display design, retail or architectural installations, or digital integration projects.
- Knowledge of CAD drawings, 3D modeling, and engineering change control.
- Familiarity with supply chain logistics, vendor management, and global manufacturing operations.
- Ability to lead both onsite and remote project teams.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
