Objective:

  • Client seeks an experienced professional with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.
  • Operates independently to provide quality work to an engagement.
  • Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex configurations.
  • Effectively consults with management. Participate in business development activities. Develop detailed solutions for rather involved projects.

Position Summary:

  • This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to direct the implementation of a new Cloud-Based hosted solution.
  • This individual will also provide project management services to the CIO and the agency executive staff on other projects when required.

Major Responsibilities:

  • IT Project Management;
  • Project Documentation;
  • Plan, Organize, and Lead Project Meetings;
  • Other IT-related tasks as agreed upon by the parties;
  • IT Procurement consultation;
  • Coordinate the PMO team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience
  • Five (5) years of IT Integration experience
  • Four (4) years of managing software implementation projects
  • Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Child Welfare processes and workflows
  • Experience with federal requirements for Child Welfare management systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to build a positive rapport with team members
  • Ability to manage conflict between team members and vendors
  • Ability to manage changes in objectives with little to no notice
  • Experience developing and maintaining meticulous documentation of project activities
