The company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Submit your completed application at /current openings Position Summary The Project Manager (Customer‑Facing Execution) is responsible for the successful execution of complex OEM projects from quote award through shipment. This role serves as the primary execution owner, ensuring projects progress on schedule with disciplined communication, strong cross‑functional coordination, and early visibility to execution risks. This position is customer‑facing and execution‑focused. The Project Manager owns schedules, deliverables, and communication, while partnering with Group Leaders and functional teams for technical, pricing, and strategic decisions. Essential Functions Customer Account Execution Act as the primary point of contact for assigned large OEM customer accounts following quote award Lead project kickoff meetings and establish clear execution plans Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate customer documentation requirements and data requests Manage revisions, change requests, and execution impacts Cross‑Functional Coordination Drive alignment across Sales, Engineering, and Production teams Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule Track production readiness and execution handoffs Identify bottlenecks and execution risks early and proactively Schedule & Milestone Management Develop and maintain detailed project schedules Track critical path activities and dependencies Escalate risks, delays, and constraints to the Group Leader in a timely manner Provide structured weekly project status updates internally Documentation & Data Management Manage and track: Drawing submissions Compliance documentation Quality documentation Customer data and reporting requirements Maintain strict version control and documentation accuracy Change Management Log and track scope, schedule, and requirement changes Partner with the Group Leader on pricing implications Ensure customer approvals are received prior to execution Customer Experience Provide consistent, structured customer updates Prevent execution surprises through proactive communication Build trust with OEM procurement and engineering stakeholders Decision Rights & Accountability Owns project schedules, milestones, and execution tracking Owns primary customer communication for assigned projects Coordinates change impacts but does not approve pricing or technical decisions Escalates production priority conflicts and execution risks as needed Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Required Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3–7 years of project or program management experience in a manufacturing, OEM, or industrial environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross‑functional stakeholders Proven experience managing schedules, milestones, and execution risks Strong execution and follow‑through Clear, structured communication Ability to influence without direct authority High attention to detail and documentation discipline Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Experience working with large OEM customers Familiarity with engineering drawings, manufacturing workflows, and quality documentation Formal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) Working Conditions Works in office and production shop. Exposure to continual noise daily from machines. Exposure to extreme hot/cold weather conditions. Physical Requirements Able to sit or stand for 10 hours at a time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
