As the Project Manager, you will drive critical initiatives that optimize both onsite and offshore operations, ensuring seamless integration and innovation in project delivery. Your leadership will be key in maintaining operational excellence and delivering tailored engineering solutions to our clients.

As the Project Manager for the Engineering Division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our onsite and offshore teams. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the successful execution of technical requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to onsite and offshore teams.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and subject matter experts.

Team Leadership:

    • Experience managing team of onsite (5-7) and offshore (12-15) system design engineers and CAD engineers is required Division.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure the team meets and exceeds performance goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability. Implement structured coaching sessions to empower the team and facilitate growth.
    • Good Knowledge in battery system and Mechanical CAD tools related to subject matters.
    • Experience in both traditional waterfall processes as well as Agile methods is preferred.
    • :
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of the engineering Division.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on divisional performance.

Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance the overall efficiency of engineering teams.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to remain at the forefront of staffing solutions.
    • Identify emerging technologies and methodologies, incorporating cutting-edge solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Drive initiatives that streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive, manufacturing engineering, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing onsite and offshore teams.
  • Good Knowledge in leading a team with technical solver (CAD CAM & CAE tools).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME, IE, Business) preferred but with the right amount of experience, will consider other fields of study.
  • Good Knowledge in Automotive and battery systems technology
  • Proven experience in program or project management, with a focus on engineering needs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of staffing industry trends, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook at a minimum.
