Position: Sr Project Manager (Medical Devices)
Location: North Andover, MA
6 months Contract to start (Performance based Extension)
Pay range: $75-82/hr
Schedule: tue-wed-thurs onsite; mon & fri remote
Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager leads medium to highly complex projects—often spanning multiple departments, locations, and occasionally regions or global sites—from initiation through successful completion. This role is responsible for defining project objectives, developing detailed project plans, allocating resources, and guiding
cross-functional project teams. The Senior Project Manager oversees risk management, stakeholder communications, and quality assurance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Principal Activities Performed By The Incumbent:
1) Lead complex, large-scale projects or multiple concurrent projects of medium to high complexity.
2)Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
3)Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
4)Direct cross-functional teams, providing oversight and guidance to ensure alignment with project goals.
5)Manage risks by proactively identifying issues, developing mitigation strategies, and resolving problems.
6)Engage with stakeholders, including mid-level directors and occasionally executives, to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.
7)Coordinate work across multiple departments, locations, and potentially across regional or global teams.
8)Leverage relationships across functional and hierarchical boundaries to ensure alignment and collaboration.
9)Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
10)Drive efficiency and effectiveness in project execution by optimizing processes and resource utilization.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in project management or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects across departments and locations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across varying levels of the organization, including directors and executives.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and performance metrics.
• Skilled in managing competing priorities and navigating organizational complexities.
