Survey Crew Chief Apply
Do you enjoy working outdoors and have a knack for surveying projects?
In this role, as a Survey Crew Chief you will perform a variety of technical, skilled survey engineering work in the field and may supervise a survey crew. You will perform boundary and topographic surveys, lead and perform construction staking and operate survey equipment (GPS, Robot, etc.) during different situations. You will supervise survey projects with specific requirements under the direction of survey crew management. You will lead the survey technicians on a daily activity including construction staking, subdivision staking, boundary and topographic surveys. Maintain all survey equipment and vehicles along with daily uploads and downloads using specific software.
Qualifications needed:
- High School Graduate: Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of field survey experience
- Certified Survey Technician (CST) preferred.
- Experience with Topcon equipment with magnet field software a plus.
- Organizational skills to plan, schedule work and complete assignments within established timeframes.
- Capable of working with a multidisciplinary team of surveyors, engineers, architects, planners, and technicians
- This job is performed outside on project sites. May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
- Lifting requirements up to 50Lbs at times and the use of PPE equipment such as safety boots/ shoes, hard hat, safety vest, etc.
