Project Manager - Chicago (NW side near O'Hare) - Hybrid - 12++ Month Contract, Possible Perm Conversion

You have at least 3 years of enterprise project management (SDLC related) and crave an environment where you can grow, learn, and thrive for many years. Congrats, you found it.

We've been engaged by a unique organization that manages pensions and financial services for the largest labor unions in the world. They have an in-house PMO that houses 8 project managers, and due to a pipeline full of critical projects, they need to add a long-term (12++ month) contracted PM to the team. You'll lead several large and complex SDLC related projects that touch all aspects of the business. You'll have support, access, and all the tools you need to create real project plans and then execute to delivery. You'll learn from very senior level PM's allowing you to refine your skills.

The Environment: Professional, respectful, and collaborative - there's no challenge they can't communicate through. The work is hybrid working from home 3 days per week and in their office (northwest side of Chicago near O'Hare) 2 days per week, you choose the days.

The Compensation: Market hourly rate on a W2 or 1099 basis with a weekly pay cycle. The project will last at least a year, with multi-year extensions possible. You have access to benefits, training, and flexible scheduling. If you elect to become a permanent (non-contract) employee in the future, you will have a company provided pension.

To be considered you must bring 3+ years of Project Management experience within a corporate software development environment, technical acumen, relationship building skills, PMP (desired), and a high level of conscientiousness - meaning you care deeply about doing your work well.
