We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction and site development projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction and civil-related project work, with the ability to coordinate contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders. Candidates with civil engineering education or technical site construction experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction and site development projects from planning through completion
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking reports
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work aligns with contract documents and project specifications
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress and challenges
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support construction execution
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals throughout the construction process
  • Monitor job site safety, quality control, and compliance with project requirements
  • Identify potential risks or delays and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on schedule

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction or civil construction projects
  • Background in general contracting, site development, or infrastructure-related projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
  • Strong experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, and budgets
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across field and office teams
  • Experience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Civil Engineering degree or strong technical site construction background
  • Experience managing site work, utilities, or infrastructure-related construction projects
  • Familiarity with construction project management software or scheduling platforms
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
