Project Manager – Trade Show Programs

Location: Long Island, NY (On-site)


Overview

We are seeking Project Managers to oversee trade show programs from start to finish, managing multiple exhibits, timelines, and stakeholders across national and regional events. While direct trade show experience is a strong plus, we are open to professionals from related industries such as construction, design-build, custom displays, store fixtures, millwork, or signage who are eager to transition into the trade show and events space.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage trade show programs from kickoff through show close, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, vendors, and show-site partners
  • Coordinate design, engineering, fabrication, logistics, and installation efforts
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, change orders, and risk mitigation
  • Manage multiple shows and programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Review drawings, production documents, and build specifications
  • Lead client status calls and internal project meetings
  • Support onsite installation, supervision, and troubleshooting as needed


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in:
  • Trade shows or live events OR
  • Construction, design-build, custom displays, store fixtures, millwork, or signage
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to show sites as required


Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with trade show venues, labor regulations, and installation logistics
  • Experience working with custom fabrication or build-to-spec projects
  • Exposure to AutoCAD drawings or production documentation
