The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of metal fabrication projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Project Planning & Coordination
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Client Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Budget & Cost Control
  • Prepare and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor costs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all fabricated components meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Work closely with QA/QC teams to resolve any issues.
• Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and guide project team members.
  • Foster collaboration between departments.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in project management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and fabrication blueprints.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Physical Requirement:Must have fine motor skills; mobility to move safety on the production floor; and the ability to sit for most of the day.
  • This role is fully in person and requires daily on-site work at our North Attleboro, MA facility.
• Visual Requirement:Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen
• Hearing Requirement:Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information
• Mental Requirement:Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and project management software.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• PMP certification is a plus.
