Job Title : Project Manager / Program Manager
Location : Waterford, MI 48328
Job Type : 6 to 12 months of contract
Work type: Once a week onsite
Description:
  • Ability to work onsite at least one day per week is desired.
  • Environment: CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Agile Methodologies
  • Below is the requisition. On-site is required one day per week.
  • Seeking an experienced project manager to join the Application & Client Services team.
  • Desire a hands-on, self-starter, and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Under supervision, the project manager will be a key contributor supporting our applications and must have experience managing a variety of projects, including request for proposals (RFPs), contract/scope development, infrastructure upgrades, application enhancements and new development, and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations, and Agile technologies.
  • Must possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology, web application programming, content management systems, API, database, and system design. Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
  • Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value, including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
  • Manage scope throughout the project duration; manage project tasks with team members, correlate work to a work breakdown structure, and ensuring team members track time appropriately to projects.
  • Manage tasks and resources related to support, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications, where applicable.
  • Potential areas of assignment with duties described above: Public Safety, Water Resources Commissioner, and Assessing & Taxation.
