Senior Project Manager – Snowflake Migrations

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven experience leading end-to-end Snowflake migration projects. This role requires a strong mix of client leadership, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on execution. Experience supporting commercial pharma or life sciences data environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Snowflake migrations from planning through cutover and post-migration stabilization
• Act as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Provide hands-on support as needed (SQL validation, testing, data mapping, issue triage)
• Guide clients on Snowflake best practices (architecture, RBAC, governance, performance, cost optimization)
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, and architecture teams to ensure alignment
• Run agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and milestone reviews
• Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle

Required Experience

• 7+ years of project management experience in data, cloud, or analytics environments
• Multiple successful Snowflake migration deliveries (must-have)
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, warehouses, RBAC, pipelines, and cost controls
• Ability to be hands-on with SQL testing, validation, and data mapping
• Excellent communication skills with executive and technical stakeholders
• Commercial pharma / life sciences experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
