Our client, a leading asset management firm based in Midtown NYC, is seeking a strong Technical Project Manager for a contract role. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating technology initiatives and supporting delivery within the firm's Trading and Operations technology teams.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing project execution, facilitating communication between technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate technology projects within the Trading and Operations domain.
• Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and executed.
• Track project progress, manage timelines, and address any risks or roadblocks.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Technical Project Manager within financial services.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
• Experience working with development teams and business analysts in a technical environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within asset management, trading, or capital markets environments.
• Familiarity with trading or operations platforms and workflows.
