Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Mon/Tue) - Only local candidates
Duration: 6+ Months
Contract- w2
Pay range: $70- $73/hr. on w2
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project/Product Manager to lead and manage HR-related projects within a dynamic organizational environment. This role involves overseeing end-to-end project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage one or more mid-to-large scale projects with full ownership of outcomes, timelines, and costs
- Develop project plans, business objectives, and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to drive project execution
- Engage with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on key business initiatives
- Drive change management strategies and develop communication plans
- Track project performance through dashboards, reporting tools, and metrics
- Ensure benefits realization and measure project ROI through surveys and analytics
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure adherence to contract terms
- Maintain project documentation, governance, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum projects in a hybrid environment
- Strong understanding of project governance, change control, and approval processes
- Experience with vendor management and procurement-related projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
- Experience working on HR transformation or HR-related projects
Interview Process
- 2 rounds of interviews
- Final round includes a 15–20minute presentation (3–5 slides) showcasing a project (preferably HR-related), covering:
- Project kickoff/charter
- Planning, governance, and controls
- Hybrid delivery approach (Waterfall + Agile)
