Job Description:
- This role will support the following 3 workstream that contribute to key strategies for 2025.
- In 2025, we will be expanding ACIV's volunteer portfolio to more intentionally includes skills-based volunteering programs.
- This role will lead the implementation planning and pilot programming of 1-2 skills-based volunteering products.
- We will be executing three global volunteer campaigns in 2025, including Global Month of Volunteering in May.
- This role will lead the campaign strategy and work closely with the ACIV regional team to identify and create tools/resources to support their execution.
- ACIV is planning on launch a number of new volunteer products.
- Currently, the go-to-market execution (e.g. conducting training with the regional PMs, drafting communications to end customers, localizing communications) is split across the team and we have received feedback on how it is not consistent.
- We plan to centralize this work to simplify and automate as much as possible.
- This role will lead the go-to-market execution and evaluate the effectiveness of/iterate our newly designed processes.
- Services to be performed
- Build implementation plan for 1-2 skills-based volunteering products based on a drafted strategy and recommendations provided by the ACIV team
- Design and execute skills-based volunteering pilot program for 1-2 product offerings
- Develop pilot program resources and communications materials
- Recruit volunteers and community partners to participate
- Lead project scoping and skills matching
- Develop training materials for volunteers
- Track and measure key performance indicators
- Analyse outcomes and capture learnings
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Lead global strategy and execution for quarterly volunteering campaigns
- Serve as a central point of contact across ACI teams (Volunteering, Marketing, and Community Impact Pillars) to align on volunteer campaign strategy
- Support the campaign's project manager to draft campaign tools and resources for volunteers and community ambassadors
- Define success metrics and track key performance indicators
- Analyse outcomes and capture learnings
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Execute go-to-market strategies for new volunteer products
- Serve as a central point of contact across ACI teams (Volunteering, Marketing) when launch new global products/features
- Execute on the go-to-market plans, including drafting comms, conducting training, engaging with 3P to translate comms/trainings as needed
- Analyse outcomes and capture learnings on product launches
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Typical Day in the Role:
Day to Day:
- Contractor will be working on 3 separate areas:
Skills space volunteering
- The clients with very specific skills (software developer, strong marketing skills, etc. that want to help a non profit with their problems.
- Build a program to support that.
- Help to pilot one or two program redesigns
- Will not be running everything but working closely with regional teams to ensure programs are executed, making changes along the way, learning about the pilot to inform the future strategies, and ensuring success
- Something new, need someone to tackle this.
- Need someone who can take this and run with it without guidance.
Campaigns
- How do they inspire and galvanize all of the client to volunteer during specific times?
- Need someone to lead campaign
- Work with project manager to ensure global team is staying on task
- Ensure partner teams (communications and marketing) is staying on task
Supporting Other Items
- Team develops new products and tools (resources, playbooks, etc. to support volunteers or ambassadors who are organizing events in their org.)
- Not very strong to have go to market (what is the full communication plan)
- This person will be executing and utilizing the resources and plans.
- Need to have flexibility when taking calls from other countries.
