O’Connell Electric Company is seeking an individual with proven experience in the Electrical Construction industry. A project scheduler creates, manages, and tracks project timelines, ensuring tasks meet deadlines by developing schedules, monitoring progress, analyzing critical paths, and communicating updates to stakeholders. This position will support a large data center project located in Niagara County, NY. This is a full‑time position with fluctuating working hours; some evening and weekend work will be required. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and critical path analysis. Coordinate task assignments, resource allocation, and dependencies. Monitor project progress, identify risks/delays, and recommend mitigation actions. Generate and distribute project status reports for management and stakeholders. Ensure schedules align with project goals and company‑wide deadlines. Support the entire life‑cycle of an EPC project, including conceptual schedules for design development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Project Management, Engineering, or related) preferred. Experience (1‑3+ years) in a related industry. Strong analytical, communication (verbal & written), and organizational skills. Key skills: Time management, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, critical path method (CPM) knowledge. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with project management software – specifically, MS Project, Primavera (P6), Procore and Accubid. Experience and comfort with cloud‑based tools is helpful. Strong technical aptitude to learn and master company‑specific tools and programs is required. Compensation The minimum and maximum annual salary that O’Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $70,000 to $85,000 annually. Compensation depends on geographic location, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate. Top of the range represents exceptional and/or senior‑level positions that meet all required qualifications.
