Job Title: Construction Scheduler - Owner's Representative

Locations: ATL Area OR PHL Area

Job Type: 12-24 month contract

TL;DR:

  • Must have recent experience building mission critical Data Centers - unfortunately there are no exceptions with this for these projects.
  • Must be able to be on-site in ATL or PHL for the duration of the project (travel & expenses will be reimbursed)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to act as an Owner's Representative for a large-scale data center construction project. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in construction scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor in a Mission Critical environment, with a focus on data center construction. The Scheduler will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting on construction schedules, as well as analyzing and validating the accuracy of information contained in schedule analyses performed by the Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, status, and report on construction schedules
  • Validate the accuracy and credibility of information contained in schedule analyses
  • Recommend ways to improve schedule performance through analysis, work-arounds, lessons learned, corrective actions, and acceleration plans
  • Analyze schedule impacts due to changes or claims, including time-impact analysis
  • Perform Program Schedule QA/QC reviews and status updates
  • Assist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractor's progress schedule
  • Lead and train project managers and project controls specialists
  • Review Schedule-driven Change Orders and Time Impact/Claims submitted by vendors
  • Walk construction sites as needed and check the contractor's weekly/monthly schedule progress
  • Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders and conduct schedule negotiations
  • Provide project expertise with respect to CPM scheduling and use of Primavera
  • Comply with instructions, policies, schedule specifications, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of full-time professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor in a Mission Critical environment
  • Minimum 4 years of full-time experience as a lead scheduler on large-scale mission critical projects
  • Mid to advanced proficiency in Primavera software
  • Pre-hire interview required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PSP, PMI-SP, or PMP certification
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese)
  • 5+ years of experience as a lead scheduler on large or Hyper Scale Data Center projects
  • 3+ years of international Mission Critical project experience
