GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not guaranteed compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as a discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.Roles and ResponsibilitiesJoin our team as a Project Scheduler, where you will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing project timelines to ensure successful project delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to drive schedule performance, identify risks, and support timely execution across all project phases. This position follows a hybrid work schedule based at our Hudson, WI facility.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive scheduling management system in collaboration with Project Directors and Project ManagersManage and coordinate multiple project schedules simultaneously across various project phasesEstablish and maintain baseline schedules, including activity durations, resource allocation, and critical path analysisCollaborate with Design, Procurement, Construction, and Workshop teams to continuously update schedule changes and ensure alignmentMonitor actual project progress against contractual milestones and support Project and Contract Managers in identifying risks, delays, and opportunitiesPerform earned value analysis (EVA) to track project performance and forecast outcomesConduct Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to evaluate potential delays and recommend recovery or mitigation strategiesMaintain strong communication across project teams to proactively identify issues, bottlenecks, or risks impacting the scheduleParticipate in project meetings related to contractual schedule changes with customers and suppliersContribute to final project reporting, including schedule performance analysis and lessons learned for continuous improvementYour Profile / QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field – or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project planning or scheduling roleStrong understanding of all project lifecycle phases, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioningExposure to manufacturing or OEM operations environmentsTechnical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling softwareStrong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate priorities, timelines, and resource allocationProfessional Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and prioritization abilities with attention to deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively across departments and build effective working relationshipsPositive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skillsAt GEA, we don’t just offer jobs, we offer opportunities to thrive, grow, and make an impact.#engineeringforthebetterPlease note: This position is based in the United States and does not offer visa or work sponsorship.
