Job Summary The Capacity Planning & Production Scheduler will focus on long-range planning, capacity forecasting, and high-volume production scheduling within a fast-paced Direct Mail environment. This role is responsible for developing forward-looking production plans, confirming operational capacity, and proactively identifying constraints to ensure customer commitments are met. Responsibilities Develop and manage long-range production schedules to support business and customer demand Lead capacity planning efforts, ensuring labor, equipment, and materials align with forecasted volume Create production forecasts and proactively alert leadership to overcapacity or scheduling conflicts Partner with operations, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to align scheduling strategy with production goals Identify key resource needs (materials, staffing, equipment) critical to execution and delivery success Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen scheduling accuracy and workflow efficiency Maintain acceptable customer delivery standards through proactive planning and coordination Qualifications 3+ years of scheduling experience in a high-volume Direct Mail or manufacturing production environment Strong understanding of production workflows, capacity constraints, and long-term planning Ability to anticipate challenges and make strategic scheduling recommendations Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple departments Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
