DEPARTMENT: THS Finance JOB SUMMARY: The Project Specialist will provide administrative and technical support to the Tulalip Health System’s Grants & Contracts department. Under the supervision of the department Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating construction/operational projects, assisting with procurement processes, supporting the drafting and tracking of contracts, and processing billing in coordination with accounts payable. The Specialist ensures accurate documentation and timely payment of contract and vendor invoices in compliance with Tribal, federal, and funding agency requirements. COMPENSATION: $25.31 MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalent Associate Degree in Business administration, Public Administration, Project Management or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis. MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of administrative, procurement, or project coordination experience. Experience with contract administration, accounts payable or grants management preferred. Experience working with Tribal governments, healthcare, or public sector preferred. SKILLS TESTING Typing 25 WPM REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance) Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray prior to hire. Completion of procurement, contract management, or grant administration training. *Will allow one (1) year to obtain. CPR/First Aid certificate upon hire. Bloodborne Pathogens certificate upon hire. HIPAA certification upon hire. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-time position.
