Senior Project SpecialistThe Senior Project Specialist is responsible for taking lead on planning, developing, managing, and implementing program specific special projects. This includes gathering requirements for the special project through direct interface with members of various departments, clients, vendors and administration, as well as occasional workload delegation. This position will assist with department audits (OPCC numerous reports as well as DCP / scheduling team's authorizations, reports & documentation); assist with time and resource management throughout the development cycle of the special project; work closely with operations teams to plan, perform, and maintain special products; track project deadlines and hold accountability to meet all deadlines; monitor project progress and outcomes of special projects; provide oral and written presentations as requested to share special projects with other departments and external entities. Reports directly to the Manager of Outpatient Administrative Operations.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Take the lead in management of program specific special projects.Coordinate the activities of personnel involved in the department and implementation of special projects.Confer with Outpatient Manager, Director & Sr. Director of Administrative Operations to determine basic departmental policies and operating procedures and coordinate implementation.Assess departmental priorities and objectives and makes action recommendations.Analyze departmental and program specific data.Conduct and interpret complex studies and prepare reports.Conduct audit projects on the OPCC & OP PDC department.Conduct audits on the DCP (scheduling) team's authorizations, documentation & reports.Interact professionally with other healthcare service providers.Call members for project-specific needs (ex: CCM pursuit / accreditation project)Communicate appropriately and clearly to management, co-workers, and physicians.Consult other departments as appropriate to provide for an interdisciplinary approach.Perform other duties as assigned.Participate in the efficient, effective, and responsible use of resources such as supplies and equipment.Maintain all reference material that is provided by the supervisor, manager or director.Know and follow the Employee Handbook policies and procedures.Strong knowledge of computer programs and company resources.Performs all other duties as directed by management.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $26 - $28 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.As one of the fastest growing Independent Physician Associations in Southern California, Regal Medical Group, Lakeside Community Healthcare & Affiliated Doctors of Orange County, offers a fast-paced, exciting, welcoming and supportive work environment.
