Position: Project Supervisor
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:45 AM – 2:30 PM (with potential overtime until 4:30 PM and occasional weekends)
Position Summary:
The Project Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing quality inspection projects and leading teams of inspectors at customer sites. This includes setting up projects, managing customer expectations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring team performance. This role requires frequent travel to customer locations to supervise operations, provide training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of quality inspection teams at various customer sites.
- Develop and implement work instructions for team leaders and inspectors.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Monitor quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and work instructions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer relations and communications.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including data sheets, time sheets, and project reports.
- Conduct audits, attend daily meetings, and enter data into internal platforms (e.g., SOLAR Edge).
- Lead 3-Step Training and Individual Process Audits (IPA) for new and existing inspectors.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed, including PPE compliance and safe working practices.
- Escalate issues such as nonconforming (NOK) materials or disputes to management for resolution.
- Upload required documentation (e.g., PPRs) to project libraries within designated timeframes.
- Assign daily inspection projects and manage resource allocation effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance setting.
- Strong customer service and business-to-business communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive and adaptable mindset.
- Ability to travel to customer facilities on short notice.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
