Overview Position: Project/Technical Administrator and Coordinator Location: Cambridgeshire with hybrid working Salary: £25-30k Negotiable (DOE), Plus Excellent Benefits Package The Role Working within a Framework JV made up of seven partner companies and their extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. The framework is heading into its latest Asset Management Period, AMP7, which will deliver a £1.8bn programme of work over the next five years. Undertaking circa 800 projects across the region requires teams to collaborate and work towards common objectives to deliver the best service possible to clients. Working within the Engineering team, you will provide project and technical delivery support to a designated programme of work, producing, developing, facilitating, coordinating, and monitoring a range of technical delivery support schedules and administration across the project lifecycle. As you understand how the alliance operates, you’ll gain knowledge and confidence of processes and will accumulate skills by working cross-functionally to enable support of other teams to increase synergy and efficiency between delivery teams. Responsibilities Support the production of meeting presentations, reports and issuing of Land Entry Notices by liaising with internal and external teams/organisations Assist the engineers in producing key public relations communications to ensure customer awareness and satisfaction is as high as possible Assist the Engineering team in scoping survey requirements and liaise with the Survey Co-ordination Team Record and submit carbon usage for the team; assess and understand areas where carbon reduction or efficiency can be achieved Support the Technical Managers and Lead Technical Managers in the administrative elements of their roles, such as customer surveys and communicating team updates and achievements Establish areas of administrative process improvements and implement these enhancements to increase output Collaborate with other Team Coordinators to create a community where knowledge and processes sharing is encouraged Experience Demonstrable experience of taking responsibility for administration and reporting outputs and being accustomed to working in collaborative teams. You’ll show passion for developing your career in an engineering environment to complement your strong administrative skills. You’ll display strong organisational and prioritising skills, enjoy working with multiple people and teams to build relationships, and be confident in producing reports and analysis to aid decision making using strong IT skills.
