Project/Program Manager Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project/Program Manager for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is an 8+ month contract opportunity.
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a defined set of deliverables, which requires engagement from multiple teams. The ideal candidate will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensure compliance to set standards, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This position ensures that execution and delivery meet expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and deliver a set of defined deliverables which requires engagement from multiple teams
Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensure compliance to set standards
Provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables
Ensure execution and delivery meets client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable on-time, accurate delivery
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
Gather and facilitate status updates for deliverables to stakeholders and leadership
Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource, potentially providing technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
May have responsibility for a project and project budget
Requirements: 10+ years of End-to-End Project and Program Management experience
Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to lead a team and drive to results
Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong project financial management skills
Experience guiding projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed
Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context
Knowledge of software development and general awareness of testing
Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices
Proficient with Agile tools (Jira) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with AI Tools such as Copilot
Desired skills: Bachelor's degree in a technical field
CISA, CISSP / CISM background
Experience with reporting, presentation, Jira / Kanban, Technology and Risk understanding
Familiarity with business resiliency processes, risk management, and technology change management
Familiar with Remedy / Nexus ticketing systems, patch deployment/management process, CI/CD, and DevOps
Certifications: ITIL, CISA, CISSP, RHEL
Pay range: $78.04 - $86.04 per hour
