We are looking for someone sharp, dependable, and energized by the satisfaction of making complex things run smoothly.This is a role for someone who loves bringing order to ideas, managing projects from concept to completion, keeping multiple moving pieces on track, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll be close to the work that matters most, supporting a leader who thinks big and moves fast, in an organization that has a genuine impact on thousands of individuals and families in our community.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role reports directly to the Director and covers a wide variety of major events, high-visibility projects, and day-to-day operational tasks.Support the Director in executing priorities across multiple concurrent projectsTrack tasks, timelines, and follow-through across initiatives so nothing gets lostManage events from concept to executionCoordinate logistics for meetings and organizational initiativesResearch, organize, and create clarity from a high volume of moving piecesCreate presentations and internal materialsCoordinate with Friendship Circle International on shared initiatives, including ordering and event planningManage donor and holiday gift ordering, timelines, and vendor relationshipsSupport staff appreciation and team culture initiativesHandle day-to-day operational tasks including scheduling, agendas, document organization, and proofreadingYou May Be a Fit If YouAre genuinely moved by work that mattersWant to help make the world a better place every time you come to workAre able to move quickly and understand when priorities shiftKeep a detailed to-do listAre not afraid to take the initiativeCommunicate clearly, listen carefully, and are comfortable asking questionsAre comfortable with technology and have a willingness to learn new things and toolsFind genuine satisfaction in helping others succeedQualificationsProven experience in project coordination, operations, or event planning; nonprofit experience a plusAble to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail with consistent follow-throughExperience coordinating events of varying scale, including formal galas and donor eventsProficient with Google Workspace and AI tools; quick to learn and adapt to new technologyComfortable working with project management and CRM platformsAble to work on campus during scheduled hoursWhy This RoleAt Friendship Circle, the work is varied, fast-paced, and genuinely meaningful, and the people you do it with make all the difference.
