We are looking for a dedicated Property Accountant to join our team in Everett, Washington. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in managing detailed financial operations, and is eager to contribute to the success of the organization. The position provides an opportunity to handle diverse accounting tasks, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash transactions as part of the month-end closing process.

• Generate timely and precise monthly financial statements to support business operations.

• Compile month-end accounting closing packets for assigned companies and ownership groups.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries and concerns.

• Handle intercompany transactions, including payroll reclasses, health insurance allocations, and quarterly adjustments.

• Oversee shared vendor billing processes for advertising, technology, and other recurring expenses.

• Monitor and file B& O tax reports for Washington state locations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all accounting activities.


The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000.

• Proven experience in property accounting or related roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to perform month-end close activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling large volumes of transactions.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
