Property Management & Bookkeeping Assistant Apply
Job Description
We are seeking an assistant for a small commercial real estate company. Part time, semi-flexible 20 - 25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices and recurring bills
Schedule and manage timely bill payments
Track reimbursements, CAM/NNN charges, and tenant bill-backs
Assist with monthly reconciliations and expense tracking
Organize financial records and supporting documentation
Coordinate with CPA/bookkeeper as needed
Property Management Support
Communicate with tenants regarding invoices, reimbursements, and routine questions
Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
Track leases, renewals, insurance certificates, and compliance items
Maintain accurate digital property files and records
Assist with reports, summaries, and correspondence
Qualifications
Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounting support preferred
Property management or real estate experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable handling financial information confidentially
Proficient in Excel and accounting or property management software (Appfolio)
Organized, reliable, and proactive with strong follow-through
