We are seeking a high-caliber Proposal Manager to lead the technical engine of our business development team.
In this role, the focus is on the tactical delivery of high-quality submissions. You will take the lead on the physical and digital assembly of proposals, ensuring that every strategic directive is translated into a polished, 100% compliant final product.
What You Will Do
As Proposal Manager, you are responsible for the systematic execution of the proposal process. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of professional services proposals, ensuring that every submission reflects the high standards of Sweet Sparkman’s brand and the technical accuracy demanded by our clients.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Tactical Production: Execute the end-to-end production of RFQ, RFP, and SOQ responses, managing the assembly of content from initial solicitation through to final printing or digital submission.
- Compliance & Governance: Perform rigorous analysis of solicitation requirements to ensure adherence to submission guidelines, government regulations, and procurement protocols.
- Workflow Management: Establish and enforce proposal schedules, assign tasks to technical contributors (Principals, Architects, and Designers), and lead progress meetings to ensure all milestones are met.
- Quality Control & Editorial: Execute final technical quality checks to ensure grammatical precision, brand alignment, and visual excellence.
- Advanced Document Design: Utilize Adobe InDesign to create sophisticated, structured layouts that communicate complex architectural concepts with clarity and impact.
- Knowledge Management: Curate and maintain the firm’s library of staff credentials, project histories, and technical templates to ensure the most current and accurate data is utilized.
What We Are Looking For
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is mandatory. Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office Suite is required.
- Industry Context: 3+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Professional Services. A/E/C firm experience is highly preferred.
- Procurement Fluency: Strong familiarity with public-sector procurement processes and government contracting (Local, State, or Federal).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Core Competencies: Superior editorial skills, exceptional project management capabilities, and a sharp eye for "zero-error" quality control.

What We Offer
- Full-time position | On-site in Sarasota, FL |Monday – Friday
- $75,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
