Territory: Bartow County, GA
Candidate may reside in: Bartow, Cherokee, Pickens, Floyd Counties
Travel: Up to 4 days per week within assigned territory
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary Range: $75,000 $80,000 annually
Additional Compensation: Mileage reimbursement
Vendor fee-$3000

Position Summary

The Provider Engagement Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between the organization and assigned healthcare providers within the Bartow County territory. This role is highly field-based and focuses on strengthening provider relationships, driving performance improvement, and supporting value-based care initiatives to reduce cost drivers and improve quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular in-person visits with assigned provider practices to support engagement and performance goals

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and clinical staff

  • Analyze and address risk-based metrics, including:

    • Health Benefit Ratio (HBR)

    • Emergency room utilization

    • High-cost utilization drivers

  • Educate providers on performance metrics, utilization trends, and opportunities for improvement

  • Support initiatives related to cost containment, care coordination, and quality improvement

  • Act as a trusted partner to providers, identifying barriers and facilitating solutions

  • Collaborate with internal teams including network management, quality, and operations

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of provider interactions

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 years of in-person provider engagement experience

  • Experience working with risk-based healthcare models

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HEDIS and Quality Improvement initiatives

  • Background in value-based care environments

  • Knowledge of claims processing

  • Experience in:

    • Managed Care organizations

    • Accountable Care Organizations (ACO)

    • Independent Practice Associations (IPA)
