Pay: $75,000 - 90,000/hr + Benefits
Industry: Plastic Injection molding
Schedule: Full-time / O.T. Available
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Process Technician to join a stable and well-established leader in the plastic injection molding industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection molding processes, ensuring consistent part quality and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have 5 8 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of process control, tooling, and material handling.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform setup and operation of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Supervise and guide process technicians during mold changes, startups, and troubleshooting activities
  • Optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent part quality and cycle efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve complex process issues
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with dimensional and visual quality standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation of setups, process changes, and production data
  • Support preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs
  • Uphold safety standards and promote a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics or manufacturing preferred
  • 5 years minimum experience in plastic injection molding processing, with leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of thermoplastic materials, tooling, and molding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality specifications
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed
