Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Hybrid Model Apply
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: MSN or DNP from an accredited school with a residency in child, adolescent, or adult psychiatry. Board eligibility is required.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience working with mentally ill adults and children.
- Licensure: New York State DEA license. Must obtain NY State Suboxone Waiver within six months of hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and education to clients.
- Conduct substance use assessments and offer co-occurring care, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Complete evaluations and documentation for various agencies as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Thorough understanding of mental health diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer use, including EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and the Internet.
