A well-respected healthcare provider with facilities across the United States is seeking to urgently hire a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) who holds an active license in the state of Nebraska for one of the nursing homes there in Waverly, NE.
Responsibilities:

Thoroughly review patient medical records, including history, current medications, lab results, and any previous psychiatric assessments or interventions.

Evaluate the patient's current mental health status, symptoms, and overall condition based on the information in the charts.

Determine any changes or adjustments needed to the patient's psychiatric treatment plan, such as medication management, therapy recommendations, or referrals to other providers.

Document all chart reviews, assessments, and treatment plan updates in the patient's electronic medical record.

Coordinate with the on-site nursing staff and primary care providers to ensure the patient's psychiatric care is aligned and integrated with their overall healthcare.

Consult and collaborate with the patient's local psychiatrist or other mental health professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care.

Monitor patient progress and outcomes, making further adjustments to the treatment plan as required.

Participate in regular chart review meetings or case conferences with the broader care team.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- At least, 6 months of experience in long-term care,
- Active NE state license,
- Board Certified Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner,
- Experience in Psychiatry (1 year min.), and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Full-time: $150,000 - $200,000
