Occupational TherapistWorks independently to provide occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician consistent with agency policies and procedures standards of practice and regulations. Develops and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients and to maximize function and independence.Schedule: PRN weekend and holiday rotation requiredRequirementsCurrent licensure in North Carolina as an Occupational Therapist. Home health experience preferred. Minimum of one years experience in a health care facility. Current NC drivers license, valid insurance coverage, and reliable transportation. CPR certification required through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If not currently certified, must obtain within 30 days of hire. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
