Powerback is seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to join our team on a contract basis across Massachusetts. This opportunity offers guaranteed full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the recovery and well-being of patients in a supportive environment.
As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore strength, improve mobility, and enhance overall physical function.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

Conduct therapeutic exercises and mobility activities as directed.

Observe, record, and report patient progress and responses to treatment.

Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.

Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals.

Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License State of Massachusetts (MA) (Required)

Current BLS/CPR Certification (Preferred)

Prior experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute care settings preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow therapeutic plans accurately and work collaboratively within a care team.
