About the role Develop and implement public relations programs that build brand awareness and drive earned media coverage Identify and develop story opportunities that align with Rocket's brand narrative and business objectives Initiate and maintain strategic media relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry contacts Write press releases, articles, and pitch story ideas to secure media placements and speaking opportunities Plan and manage press tours, conferences, events, and award submissions Monitor media coverage and analyze PR metrics and outcomes to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategy Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging, brand voice, and communications across all public relations initiatives About you Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives Demonstrated experience developing and executing public relations campaigns Proficiency with media databases, monitoring tools, and PR analytics platforms Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in public relations, agency work, or related field Experience with media strategy, media list development, and earned influencer campaigns Portfolio of creative consumer PR work or successful campaign examples Experience with award submissions, conference speaker preparation, or event management What you’ll get Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
