About the Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to join our U.S.-based PR team supporting company's broader eyewear, retail, and pure player portfolio. This role is instrumental in executing day-to-day PR activities, developing influencer strategies, managing media relationships, and coordinating high-impact brand events. You'll work closely with the Senior Public Relations Manager, to drive media visibility, strengthen brand reputation, and deliver outstanding PR results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Public Relations Manager in executing PR campaigns, influencer programs, and brand communication strategies.
  • Liaise with external PR agencies to fulfill editorial requests, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery.
  • Assist in developing press materials such as talking points, media alerts, quotes, and trend pitches.
  • Maintain and update media lists and influencer databases using PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
  • Prepare PR recaps, performance reports, and presentations highlighting key metrics and campaign outcomes.
  • Conduct influencer and media research to identify new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Provide on-site and virtual event support, including managing guest lists, invitations, and media outreach.
  • Oversee product seeding, gifting, and sample coordination to influencers and media outlets.
  • Handle administrative and operational tasks such as invoicing, budget tracking, shipment coordination, and internal communications.
  • Support paid editorial partnerships and PR activations to enhance brand engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism preferred.
  • 1 3 years of experience in public relations, marketing communications, or brand management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Cision, Meltwater, or Muck Rack is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for events, brand activations, or media engagements as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience supporting fashion, lifestyle, or retail brands.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing, social media campaigns, and event logistics.
  • Passion for brand storytelling, media relations, and trend analysis.
