Department Overview The Command Center Software Deployment, Managed and Support Services team delivers solutions to the public safety sector. Our mission is to provide technology and tools that enable customers to focus on their mission and respond faster with smarter, safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as Emergency Call Handling, 911 Equipment, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems, and Mobile Data Computing. Key Responsibilities Conduct operational assessments, business process reviews, and discovery events to understand current business processes within Public Safety agencies, interviewing subject matter experts and documenting findings. Evaluate existing processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend configurations and applications of Motorola’s mission‑critical software solutions. Facilitate business process reengineering by analyzing workflows, recommending changes, and leading workshops to develop new processes aligned with organizational objectives. Design, develop, and deliver training curriculum, learning aids, and instructional materials to ensure end‑user engagement and adoption of new software implementations. Define, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, ensuring customer requirements are met and documenting results against the functional requirements matrix. Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to communicate customer needs and adapt Motorola’s highly configurable Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) software to specific client use cases. Partner with Project Managers and Program Directors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery while adhering to scope and budget constraints. Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders, creating clear, informative presentations to support decision‑making and facilitate buy‑in from customer leadership. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications. Self‑motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives. Basic Requirements High school diploma, associate’s, bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or 3 years of experience in a Public Safety Information Technology environment. Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (no work‑permit sponsorship). Target Base Salary Range $75,000 – $85,000 USD (based on knowledge, skills, and experience). Travel Requirements 10–25% travel. Position Type Experienced referral; payment plan available.
