Role: Purchasing Associate
Location: Scarborough, ME - 04074
Duration: 6 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
100% Onsite Role.

Skills Looking For:

Supporting the ID Now product line, specifically the manufacturing and purchasing of supplies for instant test cartridges related to COVID, flu, strep, and RSV.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in procurement.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and purchasing.

Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.

SAP experience preferred but not required (willing to train).

Science, business, finance, or related field background preferred; not essential to have a regulated industry background.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels for required commodities.

Coordinate with suppliers, process purchase orders (POs), and track deliveries.

Adjust purchasing quantities in response to changing forecasts.

Escalate material issues and communicate effectively with management.


Education and Level of Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, or related field.

Five years of experience in a related role; procurement experience is preferred.

10+ years of experience considered if the candidate is interested in the role and aligns with team dynamics.


Top Skills in Resume:

Proven experience in procurement and inventory management.

SAP or ERP system familiarity.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Effective communication and supplier relationship management.
