Summary Of Position Reporting to the Pricing & Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Purchasing Coordinator is an entry-level role responsible for planning and requisitioning raw materials and supplies essential to manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent production flow by supporting purchasing activities, maintaining accurate ERP data, and coordinating closely with production, engineering, and other internal teams. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Description Purchasing Coordinator Location: Menomonee Falls, WI (on-site) Essential Functions And Responsibilities Production Order Planning Allocate raw materials to production orders Remove raw material constraints when materials are received Investigate production orders appearing on unplanned or unscheduled order reports Procurement Execution Issue purchase orders and maintain the Kanban system Update purchase order confirmation dates, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system Maintain accurate material specifications and supplier data Purchase miscellaneous supplies for various departments Cross-Functional & Administrative Support Partner with internal departments to verify and maintain accurate inventory counts Assist engineering with procuring materials required for tooling vendors Identify process improvements and contribute at least one improvement idea per quarter Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Minimum 1 year of experience in an office or manufacturing environment preferred (printing, packaging, or related industry a plus) Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills & Competencies Attention to Detail & Accuracy Prioritization & Multitasking Communication Skills; Independent Work Team Collaboration Alignment with Core Values: Determination, Respect, Appreciation, Fun, and Trust Work Environment Primarily office-based with regular interaction in a manufacturing environment; occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, or moving materials as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
