Searching for a Purchasing Manager.
The Purchasing Manager takes charge of all procurement activities within the organization, collaborating with suppliers to address production challenges.


Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in negotiation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and in teams, with decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of market conditions and trends.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems, IQMS is preferred.

Essential Duties:
  • Oversee product purchasing, inventory management, and deliveries.
  • Manage procurement of raw materials, tooling, and operational items.
  • Responsible for supplier qualification and management, including vendor qualification, performance tracking, and categorization.
  • Handle daily Purchasing Requests and return merchandise authorization.
  • Develop and implement procurement regulations for minimizing alternative minimum tax.
  • Assess vendor and supplier quality, pricing, reliability, technical support, and product/service availability.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
  • Enhance and optimize purchasing systems, promoting electronic methods where feasible.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable for invoice approval and issue resolution.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
