Searching for a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager takes charge of all procurement activities within the organization, collaborating with suppliers to address production challenges.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and in teams, with decision-making abilities.
- In-depth understanding of market conditions and trends.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with ERP systems, IQMS is preferred.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee product purchasing, inventory management, and deliveries.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, tooling, and operational items.
- Responsible for supplier qualification and management, including vendor qualification, performance tracking, and categorization.
- Handle daily Purchasing Requests and return merchandise authorization.
- Develop and implement procurement regulations for minimizing alternative minimum tax.
- Assess vendor and supplier quality, pricing, reliability, technical support, and product/service availability.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
- Enhance and optimize purchasing systems, promoting electronic methods where feasible.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable for invoice approval and issue resolution.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
