We are hiring Purchasing/Procurement for one of our clients in Ewing, NJ.

Job Description:

Under direction, assists a buyer or other higher level professional in selecting, preparing orders, and making arrangements for purchase of various equipment, materials, and supplies used by the departments or agency of assignment or for other State departments or agencies; does other related duties as required.

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret relevant purchase regulations and apply these to specific purchase situations.
• Ability to work harmoniously with associates, superior officers, department officers, vendors, salespersons, and with others interested in or concerned with purchase matters.
• Ability to draft correspondence.
• Ability to maintain records and files.
• Ability to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position.

Work Hours:

• 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
• Lunch (Unpaid): 1 hour
