Salary Range: $60,000 $70,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support daily procurement and supply chain operations. This role will work closely with the Central SCM team to manage purchasing activities, vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and demand planning across multiple distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily purchasing activities including PO creation, tracking, and vendor communication
  • Assist in sourcing food ingredients and packaging materials aligned with quality and cost targets
  • Maintain purchase orders, vendor files, and inventory records
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and logistics teams
  • Resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, or invoicing
  • Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Provide administrative and reporting support to the SCM team
  • Consolidate order data from CA and NJ distribution centers
  • Conduct demand analysis and coordinate with manufacturing to align production schedules
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience (procurement or supply chain experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Occasional travel required for supplier meetings
