Purchasing Specialist (Buyer) is responsible for the purchase of direct and indirect materials.works closely with planner to issue Purchase Order (PO) for direct material purchase based on production schedule; ensures suppliers material on time delivery;works closely with supplier on new orders, reschedule and cancelation of open orders;follow ups with supplier for RTV or replacement of defective goods;participates in quarterly price negotiation with suppliers and Sourcing;files PO for internal and external audit purpose;conducts Annual Supplier Assessment; andother tasks as may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.Educational Background:Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or EngineeringWork Experience:At least three (3) years of working experience in material planning and purchasing role, experience in engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. Knowledge:Working knowledge of MS Office suitesPreferably knowledgeable in SAP system
