LOCALS - Hihgly Preferred Job Title: Python + AI Developer Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite - Day 1) Duration: Contract Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Python + AI Developer to join our client's team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, AI/ML frameworks, and model deployment with hands-on experience in building and scaling AI-driven applications. This is an onsite, contract role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, and product owners. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML models using Python and modern frameworks. Build and maintain data pipelines for training and inference. Collaborate with data scientists to translate research prototypes into production-ready solutions. Develop APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into applications. Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency in production. Work on end-to-end ML lifecycle , including data preprocessing, model training, testing, and deployment. Debug, monitor, and improve deployed AI/ML systems. Required Skills Strong expertise in Python (data structures, OOP, performance tuning). Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Solid understanding of machine learning concepts , model development, and deployment. Experience with data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and large-scale data processing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI/ML workloads. Experience with REST APIs, Flask/FastAPI, or microservices architecture . Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good to Have Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI (LLMs) . Exposure to MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ML applications.
